CBT and coaching for women navigating perimenopause

when it's affecting more than just your body

You’re not imagining it

I support women through the emotional, psychological, and physical impact of perimenopause - including the parts that don't always show up in a blood test.

Around this stage of life you may find:

Confidence and self-trust feel shaken, even when everything looks fine on the outside

  • Confidence and self-trust feel shaken, even when everything looks fine on the outside

  • Anxiety, irritability, or overwhelm appear out of nowhere

  • Focus is harder, rest never feels restorative, and your energy isn't what it was

  • Physical symptoms - disrupted sleep, hot flushes, or body changes - are affecting your mood, your work, and how you feel about yourself

  • Life is asking more of you than you feel able to give

This isn't a personal failing. It's what happens when perimenopause and the demands of a full life collide - and it's something you can move through with the right support.

  • “Working with Menah has been a transformative experience for me. Her insights and guidance helped me navigate through some of the toughest challenges in my life. I feel more empowered and equipped to handle whatever comes my way.”

  • "Through tailored strategies and insightful guidance, I gained not only clarity about my feelings but also practical tools to manage stress and anxiety. Menah encouraged me to explore my thoughts deeply, and I began to see my challenges in a new light, empowering me to take control of my life."

  • "Since I started therapy, I've seen significant boosts in my self-esteem and emotional resilience. I now feel more equipped to navigate life's ups and downs with confidence."

  • "If you’re considering therapy, I wholeheartedly recommend working with Menah. Her expertise and genuine care will guide you on your journey towards healing and self-discovery. You’ll not only find support but also the confidence to embrace the future with hope and resilience."

  • “Menah has a warm, calm and friendly demeanour and even though therapy took a lot of hard work, Menah was there every step of the way to guide me. I now feel much more positive about the future."

  • “The idea of therapy was a slightly daunting one but Menah made the process really comfortable right from the first session. I really can’t thank her enough for the work we have done and the incredibly positive difference it has made.”

How I work

My approach brings CBT and coaching together - which means we work on both the thinking patterns that are keeping you stuck, and the practical changes that will move you forward.

Together we'll focus on:

  • Understanding what's happening - physically and emotionally - so it feels less frightening and more manageable

  • Rebuilding confidence and self-trust from the inside out

  • Working with anxiety, overwhelm, and that relentless inner critic

  • Managing physical symptoms that are affecting your mood, sleep, or sense of self

  • Building strategies that fit your actual life, not a simplified version of it

We'll work collaboratively and with a longer view - not just to get you through the week, but to help you find steadier ground.

Hello, I’m Menah

Perimenopause brought me to this particular focus - both professionally and personally. I understand this stage from the inside, and that shapes everything about how I work.

We’ll work out what you need - but I’ll also show you what’s worked for me.

A CBT therapist, coach, and Occupational Therapist with 17 years of experience supporting people through some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

I’m accredited with the BABCP and HCPC.

I've worked across the NHS and in private practice, with charity leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from all walks of life. What draws me to this work has always been the same thing: helping people make sense of what's happening to them - and feel genuinely better equipped to handle what's ahead.

My training spans several disciplines. I hold a PhD from Queen Mary, University of London, and my research into migrant women's experiences of mental health informs how seriously I take the structural and social pressures women navigate alongside the personal ones. My mixed British-Mauritian heritage means I'm also attuned to the layers of identity and expectation that many women carry.

Outside of work, you'll find me on long walks, in the sea when I can, and tending to far too many houseplants.

Services I offer

Perimenopause can unsettle more than your body - your confidence, focus, and sense of self too. My work combines structured psychological tools (the kind used in CBT) with practical coaching, so you come away with both understanding and a plan.
