Hi, I’m Menah

I’m a coach and experienced senior Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist.

I’m accredited with the BABCP and have 16 years experience working for the UK NHS as a therapist, supervisor and manager.

I have successfully helped hundreds of people with a wide range of difficulties to thrive.

About me

As well as practicing as a coach and CBT therapist, I am qualified as an EMDR therapist and Occupational Therapist. I am also registered with the HCPC.

I spent 16 years working in a range of community, acute and forensic mental health settings in both primary and secondary care for the NHS.

Over my career, I have helped people from all walks of life in the UK and across the world. This includes charity leaders, entrepreneurs, journalists, doctors, politicians, home makers, professional poker players and much more.

My core values are trust, respect, integrity, accountability and compassion.

I am sensitive to everyone I support, and have had the joy of helping many people from culturally rich and diverse backgrounds, countries, religious beliefs, identities and immigration statuses. I take a curious and open approach to helping my clients become more self-aware and confident to navigate their onward life journeys.

I have a PhD from Queen Mary, University of London, which focused on migrant women’s experiences of UK immigration detention, home and mental health. I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals who have experienced forced migration and have supported many refugees, asylum seekers, and individuals who have experienced trauma.

I have significant experience of, and training in, working with individuals struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

I am of mixed heritage (British and Mauritian) and my favourite pastimes are hiking, sea swimming and tending to my many houseplants.
